NCIDC SNAP Food Card Distribution
NCIDC is implementing a one-time SNAP Food Card distribution to respond to the impact of the government shutdown on SNAP recipients. We are offering American Indian households that receive SNAP benefits a $75 pre-paid Walmart card to purchase food.
Applications are open now for Del Norte, Humboldt, Siskiyou, and Trinity counties and are first-come, first-served. To be eligible, applicants must submit their Passport to Services for SNAP, as well as proof of their Native American affiliation and an ID if they do not have a Tribal ID.
