The USC TMAT team is excited to announce that applications are open for our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Policy Advocacy Fellowship Program. It is a free, virtual fellowship program open to all individuals interested in advocating for American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) communities affected by SUD (including opioid and stimulant use).
The training program will provide participants with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to advocate for policy change with Tribal leaders and agencies, as well as with local, state, and federal legislators/policymakers. Please note, this training program will not address clinical/organizational policies and procedures.
Ideal participants will be individuals with little to no experience in policy advocacy. Individuals who are in active recovery for SUD are encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted from August 14 to September 5, 2025. For additional information or to apply, please visit this link: https://redcap.link/sudpaf
