California Census Kickoff
We cordially invite you to attend the California Census Kickoff event proudly presented by the Northwestern California Intertribal Census Work Group on March 6th, 2020 from 3:30–7:00 p.m. The doors will open and registration will start promptly at 3:30 pm. The event will take place in the beautiful Sequoia Conference Center, 901 Myrtle, Ave., Eureka.
We will have catered food, activities for youth, games and prizes and most importantly critical information regarding the upcoming Census 2020 Count. The Census is an important event as the data collected will determine federal program assistance such as education, housing and healthcare in Indian Country. There will be presenters and tables of information from the California Governor’s Office, California Native Vote Project, California Indian Manpower Consortium and many of our Tribal partners and others to answer any questions that you may have about being counted in Census 2020.
Your presence and support are needed throughout the event, and we hope to see you there. If you would like to participate in our event, please let us know by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or calling (707) 445-8451 for more information.
